Soil Calcariousness Test by Lemon Juice Posted By Shekhar Sarbhai

इस गतिविधि के बारे में

A field test for calcareous soil involves observing effervescence (bubbling) when a soil sample is treated with a dilute acid, typically hydrochloric acid or vinegar. This reaction indicates the presence of calcium carbonate (CaCO3), a key component of calcareous soils. Calcareous soils also tend to have a pH above 7 and may exhibit a lighter color due to the presence of CaCO3

विधि

R

परिणाम

Generally Calcariousness is high with the depth

सीखे गए मुख्य बिंदु

all the layers do not have same ammount of calcariousness in soil

it very with the depth
